About Livengood Estate Sales’ Creation and Founder Melissa Livengood
Livengood Estate Sales was founded by Melissa Livengood in May of 2022. Although a young company, I am very passionate about the company as it has been a long time goal and dream of mine to start my own estate sale company in the Indianapolis area and to serve clients in need in Central Indiana.
Operating my company goes deeper than making a profit; I myself have experienced life altering situations and I relate to how challenging navigating those situations can be. I strive to help those in need and I deliver honesty, compassion, flexibility, understanding, patience, and dedication to each client and their unique life situation. I set myself apart from competitors by operating my business on the philosophy, “they have a business whereas I have a passion.”
I genuinely enjoy seeing client’s faces light up when they walk into their estate sale. My mission is to take the burden off the client's shoulders and transform a challenging situation into a smooth and easy process. Although nursing is my primary career, I do find myself enjoying the estate sale business more and more. My goals are to help those in need have the peace of mind they desire when it’s time to progress to the next stage of life. I’ll be there to assist the customers and the owner (my mom) in making sure everything runs smoothly.
When I’m not working two jobs you can find me volunteering for Indianapolis Animal Control or spending time enjoying the things I love.

Meet Steve:
I grew up on the Southside of Indianapolis and currently live in Mooresville, IN. I have 3 years experience working in Estate Sales and really enjoy the interaction with the client and the customer. My background includes selling advertising collectibles on Ebay since 2000 and having Antique and Flea Market booths since 2018. I love doing the research into the history and value of items I am working on.
